Valiant Hearts: Coming Home, Keeper, Gears of War: E-Day, Echo Weaver, Neon Abyss 2 just joined Xbox Game Pass.
Xbox Game Pass just added a fresh batch of games you can play at no extra cost with your membership, across console, PC and the cloud. Here is what is new this week, which platforms each game is on, and what it is about.
Valiant Hearts: Coming Home
A side-scrolling puzzle-adventure and sequel to the acclaimed 2014 World War I drama Valiant Hearts: The Great War. It follows four new characters through WWI historical events, rendered in the series' signature hand-drawn graphic novel art style.
Keeper
A wordless atmospheric adventure from Double Fine Productions in which a sentient lighthouse awakens and, joined by a spirited seabird, embarks on a surreal journey through strange realms. Developed by Lee Petty, it is a short, visually distinctive puzzle-exploration experience built in Unreal Engine 5.
Gears of War: E-Day
A third-person shooter prequel developed by The Coalition and People Can Fly, set 14 years before the original Gears of War. Players join Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago on Emergence Day as the Locust Horde first erupt from below, with campaign co-op, Horde Siege, and Versus multiplayer modes.
Echo Weaver
A knowledge-based Metroidvania (dubbed a 'metroidBRAINia') developed by Moonlight Kids, in which the player controls the last surviving Weaver trapped in a glitching time loop and must use accumulated knowledge rather than gear upgrades to progress. It launches day one with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on October 8, 2026.
Neon Abyss 2
A cyberpunk-mythology roguelike run-and-gun action platformer developed by Veewo Games, featuring up to four-player online co-op, diverse combat styles, and unlimited item synergies. It exits Steam Early Access and launches day one with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on October 8, 2026.
Xbox Game Pass adds new games throughout the month across console, PC and cloud, and titles rotate in and out over time. Jump into anything that catches your eye while it is in the catalog. We refresh this list as new games are announced.
