These terms explain the rules for using GameFactsGuide. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not create an account.

Who we are

GameFactsGuide is operated by Jason van Vliet, a sole proprietorship based in the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce number: 75003651). You can reach us at contact@gamefactsguide.com.

Browsing and accounts

Anyone can browse the guides, news and other content on GameFactsGuide. To create an account, post content, use your profile or send messages, you must be 18 years or older. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity on your account.
• Provide accurate information and keep your email address up to date.
• You may delete your account at any time from your settings.

Community rules

To keep GameFactsGuide friendly and safe, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, bully or abuse other members.
• Post content that is hateful, sexual, illegal, or otherwise harmful.
• Spam, scam, phish, or advertise without permission.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent who you are.
• Attempt to break, overload or misuse the site or its features.

Moderation

We want the community to be a good place to be. If you break these rules, we may remove content, warn you, temporarily mute you, or ban your account, depending on what happened. You can report messages that break the rules, and we review those reports. Official accounts (such as our support account) cannot be friended, blocked or reported.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you give us permission to display and store it so the site can work. You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to share it.

Steam linking

You can link your Steam account to show your game library. You may only link a Steam account that you own, through the official Steam sign-in. You can unlink it at any time, which removes your imported games.

Advertising

GameFactsGuide is free to use and may show advertising to support the site. Ads are only personalised with your consent, which you can manage through the cookie settings.

Availability

We work to keep the site running well, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features over time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use your account means you accept the updated terms.
