Big Walk version 1.6.0 brings improved join codes, a wave of networking fixes, new settings for arm movement and echo cancellation, and a handful of bug fixes across gameplay and visuals.

What's new
Big Walk has received a steady update in version 1.6.0, touching on networking reliability, player settings, anti-cheat measures, and a range of smaller fixes that smooth out the overall experience.
Join codes now use a mix of letters and numbers, making them more varied and harder to accidentally misread. Several rare networking issues that could block players from connecting have been resolved, and error and warning messages related to networking have been made clearer and more informative.
Two new options have been added to give players more control over their experience. A First Person Arm Movement setting lets you adjust how your arms behave from the first-person perspective. On Windows and Mac, a new Echo Cancellation setting is also available to help reduce audio feedback during sessions.
A crash affecting Windows users running Smart App Control has been fixed. A corrupted save file will now fall back to the backup save in more situations on Windows and Mac. A potential shader error tied to lights with dynamic brightness and range has also been resolved.
A loophole that allowed players to skip a challenge by using the lost and found and restarting the server has been closed. A challenge where a specific element failed to activate when a door closed has been corrected. A badly positioned collider on a challenge skip button panel has been fixed, and some spots where players could get stuck have been addressed.
Stars in the night sky are now oriented more accurately to match the real southern hemisphere sky. Two landmarks that were showing incorrect colors on the map have been corrected.
A modded client exploit that allowed disruptive actions on a server has been patched. Kicking a player now also clears any input they had typed during that session. Unrecognized gamepads now display fallback button prompt icons so players are not left without guidance.
