PlateUp! Update | v1.4.4-8A84

PlateUp! has received a small but important hotfix, version 1.4.4-8A84, dubbed the Taste-Test Hotfix, targeting a handful of stability issues and leftover bugs from the Taste-Test update.

Stability & General Fixes

A potential crash that could occur when leaving the lobby shortly after it finished loading has been resolved, making session start-up more reliable. Additionally, the restaurant setting selector in the lobby will now remember your last choice, so you no longer need to reconfigure it each time you return.

Taste-Test Patch Fixes

Several issues specific to the Taste-Test content have been corrected in this hotfix:

• Plant strength overhaul, the way plant strength is calculated has been reworked, and new strength labels have been introduced to make plant power clearer at a glance.
• Plant reward screen, the reward screen shown after earning plants has been reimplemented to better communicate each plant's strength and effects.
• Greenhouse alignment, plants were displaying out of position inside the greenhouse; this has been corrected.
• Copy Desk text, incorrect descriptive text on the Copy Desk has been fixed.
• Cake card label, Cakes were being incorrectly categorised as a customer card rather than a dish card; this mislabelling has been resolved.
• Buffet customer behaviour, customers will now leave the buffet and return to their table as soon as it has been served, rather than waiting unnecessarily.
