What's new

Heat lobby progress now shows your actual beaten Heat level, not the maximum available
Heat progress tracking extended and corrected up to Heat 14
Free Chili reward granted for beating Heat 5 and Heat 10
New post-game unlock item added for Chill mode
Fixed queue patience being blocked by the no-patience-reset setting
Fixed queue patience alert triggering incorrectly when queues are inactive
Fixed garage items becoming untracked, causing them to move or disappear
Updated Elephant Queue tooltip text to reflect current behaviour

The latest hotfix for PlateUp! tidies up a handful of issues introduced with the Taste-Test update, with most changes focused on the new Heat difficulty system and how queues handle patience.

Heat Mode Fixes

Several Heat-related improvements have been made to ensure the mode feels fair and readable. The lobby Heat progress display now correctly reflects the highest Heat level you have actually beaten, rather than the highest level currently available to play. Tracking has also been extended to correctly register progress all the way up to Heat 14.

As a reward for your efforts, players who don't already have a Chili will now receive one for free upon beating Heat 5, and two upon beating Heat 10, a handy bonus for pushing through the toughest runs.

The post-game unlock items have also been adjusted: the Heat unlock reward has been tweaked, and a new post-game item has been added for unlocking Chill mode.

Queue and Patience Fixes

A bug where disabling patience resets on queues also prevented those queues from gaining patience through other means, such as customers walking into the restaurant, has been resolved. Queue patience alerts when queues are inactive have been fixed as well, and the tooltip text on Elephant Queues has been updated to accurately describe their current behaviour.

Stability and Item Fixes

A case where certain garage items were not being properly tracked has been corrected. Affected items could previously move around or vanish unexpectedly, which should no longer occur.
