Everything you need to know about Headman Manor: layout, exclusive valuables, hazards, and tips.

Headman Manor

Headman Manor is a Victorian mansion tileset, dark and sprawling, decorated with candles, box televisions, paintings, clocks, and pipes. Some rooms have valuables spawn in high locations, requiring double jumps, normal jumps, or cleverly placed props to grab. The manor is one of the more vertical maps with multiple floors connected by staircases.

Watch out
Noisy valuables everywhere
Several of Headman Manor's exclusive valuables make noise that attracts monsters when interacted with or picked up, including the Piano, Grandfather Clock, Gramophone, and Radio. Learn which items to avoid grabbing.

Layout and navigation

Headman Manor has many interconnected rooms across multiple floors, bedrooms, a kitchen, bathrooms, a basement, and outdoor courtyard areas. The layout has plenty of hiding spots but also many dead ends. Know your exits before going deep into any wing of the manor. Staircases connect floors and are often close to extraction points.

Tip
Dead ends
Check each room for exits before looting it fully. Getting cornered in a dead-end room with a monster is one of the most common causes of death in Headman Manor.

Tips for Headman Manor

The Piano, Grandfather Clock, Gramophone, Radio, and Television all attract monsters. Leave them unless you have a clear extraction route and no monsters nearby.
This is one of the most vertical maps. Use the map (TAB) frequently to track which floor you are on and where staircases lead.
Identify at least two exit routes from every room before looting it. Dead ends with no escape option are common in the manor.
Extraction points are always on the outer edges. Look for exterior-facing rooms, the courtyard area often has one nearby.
